““All-You-Can Eat” Section Including Race Ticket Just Got A Whole Lot Tastier; Discount Pricing For Groups of 10 or More”

West Allis, Wis. (March 30, 2009) – Famous Dave’s BBQ will add some mouth-watering barbeque to the hot on-track action in 2009 at The Milwaukee Mile in a unique all-inclusive, trackside area branded “Famous Dave’s Corner” on each of the historic speedway’s major race days.

This is far from soda in a dixie cup with a warmed-over hot dog! Race fans will have a hard time deciding among Famous Dave’s BBQ pulled chicken sandwiches or Georgia chopped pork sandwiches to go with their seasoned french fries. Unlimited Coca-Cola products and Bud Light and Budweiser, which will be served responsibly, to help wash it all down.

One set price includes a race ticket in “Famous Dave’s Corner,” which is North Terrace seating section ZZ. Famous Dave’s chefs will prepare and serve conveniently at the seating section overlooking Turn Four of The Mile. On each race day, “Famous Dave’s Corner” will open one hour before race time.

Prices for “Famous Dave’s Corner” are affordably priced at $50 to take in the Sunday, May 31 ABC Supply / A.J. Foyt 225 IndyCar Series race, set at $50 and $65 on June 19 and 20 NASCAR event days, respectively, and set at $40 for the Saturday, August 29 Wisconsin All-Star 100 super late model race day.

Discounts are available for groups as few as ten in this festive trackside hospitality area, one of the lowest minimum quantities available in the industry for this type of inclusive package.

“Racing and BBQ is a natural fit. It all started with Dave opening up his first BBQ Shack in Wisconsin, so it makes a lot of sense to be involved at the legendary Milwaukee Mile,” remarked Tom Purdy, Managing Director of Team R N’ B Wisconsin. “Race fans are going to love Dave’s own secret recipe BBQ sauces and the award-winning food we’re serving up in Famous Dave’s Corner!”

“Famous Dave’s Corner” offers great sight lines of IndyCar Series machines racing past at 170mph, and NASCAR stars including Carl Edwards and Kyle Busch flashing by at speed under the lights on their way to the finish line.

“We’re excited to partner with Famous Dave’s on this savory combination of world-class auto racing and great food in “Famous Dave’s Corner” – one more way The Milwaukee Mile is working hard to add exciting and affordable options for our fans,” exclaimed Milwaukee Mile President & CEO Claude Napier. “What better way is there to watch the stars of the Indianapolis 500 and their NASCAR heroes stand on the gas pedal while enjoying awesome Famous Dave’s BBQ?!”

“Famous Dave’s Corner” was successfully introduced by The Mile in 2008 as Club 4. Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

To purchase a “Famous Dave’s Corner” package, fans can visit the speedway’s website 24/7 at www.milwaukeemile.com, or call The Milwaukee Mile Ticket Office, Monday – Friday 9:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST, at (414) 453-8277.

My family was disappointed with Famous Dave’s Corner, food options was pulled pork sandwich, pulled chicken and potato chips. In addition, you could not hear anything going on because the loudspeaker’s barely worked. We had no idea what was going on, on the other side of the track. We could not even hear the star spangled banner and only knew it was going on becuase you could see people standing on the other side.
We watched people with cardboard boxes load up on beer and bring it back to there seats, that they eventually ran out of beer for the rest of us! Really, does a group of 3 need 20 plastic cups of beer, won’t it be warm by time you drink it! Unless you plan on eating 3 sandwiches and doing a whole bunch of drinking, this was not worth it. We felt we missed part of the race. Everyone was really friendly but we’ll chose differenty next year.
