David Starr and Brian Scott swap some paint while horsing around at the go-kart track at Games Family Park on Summer recently. They will be in town for the NASCAR trucks race in two weeks.
Scott won his first career race earlier this month at Dover when he gambled on tires, and it all paid off at the end.
“Everything about that experience was just really cool,” Scott said. “The experience, the emotion, the trophy — just getting that monkey off our back. A lot of our guys have been with me for a while.”
Scott added that the victory had done a lot for the morale of the crew.
“We’re more a group of brothers than a race team,” Scott said. “Everybody was just as excited as I was, and that’s a special feeling. They put their heart and souls into the race team, and that’s all you could ever ask for.”
