AT MICHIGAN INTERNATIONAL SPEEDWAY, JUNE 13, 2009,

· Ryan Hackett led once for three laps to earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in the Michigan 200. Hackett led for the first time in his six-race NASCAR Camping World Truck Series career.

· Hackett was sidelined by an accident and was credited with a 22nd-place finish in today’s race.

· HACKETT QUOTES: “It’s great to win the WIX award. How much does that pay? [smiles]. We didn’t really practice that well. We worked mainly on race runs during practice. We were really good in the draft so we kind of threw qualifying out the door so we could have a good race truck.

Our Ford F-150 was really good in the draft, really good. We had a good top-10. We got loose. Right in the high groove we were really good. I hope we got a lot of attention out of this race for Americanspice.com. Our next race will probably be Kentucky.”

HOW IMPORTANT IS IT FOR YOU TO RUN UP FRONT?

“Our biggest thing is we need to keep people looking at us. We need to find sponsorship. We’ve proved the last three weeks that we can run with these guys in practice. We just haven’t had the money and the resources to run the full race.”
