A Much Needed Break: “I hate taking a break from racing, but have to say I think that after a stint of several races in a row, it is much more productive for the teams to get a little time to breathe and refocus. Our team was on a roll and getting better and better each week. So the break gave us another opportunity to keep that streak alive by studying the things we simply didn’t have time to look at when we were turning trucks around week after week in limited time. I feel like the break gave us a chance to get ahead and we will see better results because of it.”

Halfway There: “It’s hard to believe that this racing season is halfway over. It has flown by! I guess time really does fly when you are having fun. We are really having a great year so far at HT Motorsports. I feel very fortunate to be with the team and have really seen us come together in the last few races. Jason (Miller, Crew Chief) and I are really gelling and it has shown in our performances. I just cannot say enough about the whole team and how hard they are working. Man these trucks feel like they come alive during the race sometimes. That is a driver’s dream.”
