Raybestos Rookie News and Notes: Built Ford Tough 225
Press Release– NASCAR CAMPING WORLD TRUCK SERIES
- Johnny Sauter was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the June 27 Memphis Travel.com 200 at Memphis (Tenn.) Motorsports Park. Sauter scored an eighth-place finish, his fourth top-10 of the season and claimed top rookie honors for the fourth time this season.
- Tayler Malsam leads Sauter by one point (120-119) in the overall Raybestos® Rookie standings entering the July 18 Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky Speedway.
- Malsam is seventh in the series championship standings, best of any Raybestos® Rookie. He trails sixth-place Brian Scott by 50 points and is three ahead of eighth-place Terry Cook.
THE STREAK STAYS ALIVE! At least one Raybestos® Rookie has finished in the top-10 in the last SEVEN consecutive races.
- Marc Mitchell was the Raybestos® Rookie of the Race in the 2008 Built Ford Tough 225 at Kentucky, scoring a ninth-place finish.
DID YOU KNOW? A Raybestos® Rookie has scored a top-10 finish in the last THREE consecutive races at Kentucky and in six of the nine races held at the 1.5-mile speedway.
DID YOU KNOW? Carl Edwards is the only Raybestos® Rookie to score a win in nine Camping World Truck Series races at Kentucky Speedway. Edwards won the 2003 event by 3.568 seconds over Ted Musgrave. He led the race only once, covering the final 40 laps.

RAYBESTOS® ROOKIE HISTORY
· Colin Braun was the 2008 Raybestos® Rookie of the Year in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series. Braun became the SIXTH Roush Fenway Racing driver to win Raybestos® Rookie of the Year in the series. In 25 starts Braun scored three top-five and eight top-10 finishes and placed 13th in the series championship standings. His best finish was a third-place effort at Kansas Speedway in April. Braun’s official margin of victory over Brian Scott in the final Raybestos® Rookie standings was 19 points (234-215).
DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is Scott Speed. Speed won the 2008 AAA Insurance 200 at Dover (Del.) International Speedway, crossing the finish line 3.379 seconds ahead of second-place Jack Sprague (28 races).
DID YOU KNOW? The most recent Raybestos® Rookie to win a pole position in the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series is Brian Ickler. Ickler won the pole for the 2009 Copart 200 at The Milwaukee (Wisc.) Mile (two races).

Kenny Irwin was the first Raybestos® Rookie to win a race in the Camping World Truck Series. Irwin captured the Florida Dodge Dealers 400K at Homestead-Miami Speedway on March 16, 1997. He took the checkered flag by .289 seconds over Mike Bliss.
Irwin also holds the record for quickest win by a Raybestos® Rookie in the Craftsman Truck Series, scoring his first career win at Homestead in just his third career start.
