Braun on racing at Nashville:“I enjoy racing at Nashville. We’re taking the same truck we won with
at Michigan so I’ve been looking forward to racing that truck again ever
since. The intermediate tracks are always best for us so we are
expecting at good run at Nashville. Racing on the concrete is a lot of
fun too.
My Roush Fenway teammate Carl Edwards is amazing on the
concrete tracks so maybe I can learn a few of his secrets to getting
around there. He has a couple of those guitars and actually knows how to
play them. I’d be happy just to get the guitar for my trophy case
whether I could play it or not. The guitar is one of the coolest
trophies in the series and it would mean a lot to take it home.”
Crew chief Mike Beam on racing at Nashville:
“Colin runs well at Nashville and we’re taking our Michigan truck so he
should be a contender. We also raced this truck at Nashville last year
and Colin got a top-10 finish. With the experience he has gained in the
past year I’m sure we can better the sixth-place finish from 2008. He
has really learned to run a smarter, more patient race. He showed that
last week at ORP running with the veterans.”
