Pit strategy helps get Busch to victory lane at Chicagoland

Kurt Busch has made no secret about his love for Chicago. Younger brother, Kyle Busch, has said that he likes the Windy City but not to the extent that his older brother does. The younger Busch may have fell in love a little more Friday night upon winning the EnjoyIllinois.com 225 Camping World Truck Series race at Chicagoland Speedway in nearby Joliet, Ill.

With Friday night’s win, Busch can now claim wins in all three of NASCAR’s national touring series at Chicagoland. But then again, that may not be such a big deal to him. After all, Chicagoland became the fifth track at which he’s won in all three series.

Friday night’s EnjoyIllinois.com 225 may have been the first ever for the trucks at Chicagoland, but it was the second race since Busch was reunited with the Truck Series crew chief he enjoyed much success with a year ago — Richie Wauters.
