Newton, Iowa (September 6, 2009)- Brian Ickler piloting the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort/Graceway Pharmaceuticals Toyota Tundra posted an 18th-place finish in the inaugural Lucas Oil 200 NACAR Camping World Truck Series race at Iowa Speedway Saturday, September 5, 2009.

Ickler qualified the Billy Ballew Motorsports entry in the seventh-place position on the starting grid for the 200-lap race at the Newton, Iowa racetrack.

From the drop of the green flag Ickler dove to the inside of the other competitors picking up three spots in one lap, advancing to the fourth-place position. He again made a move forward, picking up the third position by lap 11 of the 200 lap race. But suddenly, the Tundra became “free” losing positions on the race track.

The caution flag flew on lap 57 where the Billy Ballew Motorsports team brought Ickler down pit road on lap 58 while in the eighth-place position for air pressure adjustments in the fresh Goodyear tires. Ickler cycled out of the pits for the restart on lap 63 in the seventh-place position.

Ickler maintained the position but again reported in that the truck felt that it had no grip on the race track. Ickler pitted on lap 112 for tires and adjustments to the No. 51 Miccosukee Tundra taking on four tires while several teams took only two tires, putting him in the 12th-place position for the restart on lap 117.

The loose conditions returned again after a short run of green flag racing making it difficult for the young driver to hold onto the race truck. He called into the team that the truck was “sideways loose”. The Billy Ballew Motorsports team brought Ickler back down pit road on lap 131 taking on two right side tires and track bar adjustments.

Despite the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort/Graceway Pharmaceuticals teams effort to adjust the truck during the cautions the ill-handling issues continued relegating Ickler and the team to an 18th-place finish.

Brian Ickler will return to pilot the No. 51 Miccosukee Resort/Graceway Pharmaceuticals NASCAR Camping World Truck at Gateway International Raceway Saturday, September 12, 2009.
