Brett Butler Brings Home First Top-20 In NASCAR

Martinsville, VA (October 26, 2009) This weekend at Martinsville proved to show the progress Brett Butler has made throughout the 2009 race season.
Qualifying 32nd for the NASCAR Camping World Truck Series Kroger 200 in the No.199 LoanMax truck, Brett would earn his stay in his third Truck Series start.
Brett earned the Aaron’s Lucky Dog during the race when he was the first car one lap down. Trying to work his way up through the field, Brett also made a great move just missing Johnny Sauter who went spinning because of a cut tire.
The LoanMax truck would pass driver Max Papis to finish 20th with only one lap down in the Kroger 200.
The LoanMax driver surely showed his progress in the Truck Series from the first race at Martinsville finishing 26th and then finishing 24th at Bristol to bringing home his first top 20 in NASCAR this past weekend at Martinsville.
“I am really proud of the LoanMax team this weekend,” said Butler. “We had to work really hard to even make the race because we don’t have the team points. Once we tackled that obstacle, we were looking to have a strong race here at Martinsville. I am so excited that we were able to get a top 20 finish. It was great to return to Martinsville and to be able to finish better than we did here earlier this season.”
Brett returns to the USAR Pro Cup this Saturday for the last race of the Championship Series where the 2009 Champion will be determined. The season finale will be at South Boston Speedway in South Boston, VA.
