Trucks head to Talladega
Press ReleaseThe Wallace family hopes to make history with Saturday’s Mountain Dew 250 Camping World Truck Series race. Father and daughter combo Mike and Chrissy Wallace plan to become the first father and daughter to compete in the same race in NASCAR national competition.
“Racing against my dad, it’s something that we’ve always wanted to do,” Chrissy said. “It’s something that means a lot to me, and I think it’s a good thing for me and him both, and hopefully I’ll wind up beating him.”
Chrissy raced part-time in the Truck Series a year ago, making her debut last March at Martinsville Speedway. Saturday will mark her first race at Talladega in a truck.- Full Story by Amanda Vincent – Louisville NASCAR Examiner
