
Busch, with a qualifying lap speed of 127.077 mph, won his first series pole of the 2010 season, his sixth series career pole, and his first series pole at Richmond International Raceway.
Sharing the front row with Busch, with a speed of 126.618 mph, will be David Reutimann, and they will be followed by Jimmie Johnson (126.464) starting third, Jeff Gordon (126.375) fourth, Ryan Newman (126.245) fifth, Brad Keselowski (126.239) sixth, Kevin Harvick (126.133) seventh, Jamie McMurray (126.121) eighth, Brian Vickers (126.109) ninth and Clint Bowyer (126.015) rounding out the top-ten starting positions.
Failing to make the field were the #55 of Michael McDowell; #13 of Max Papis and the #66 of Dave Blaney.
Terry Cook, with a speed of 124.098 mph, was the highest qualifying Raybestos Rookie contender, and will start in the 41st starting position.
