1975-1981 – Talladega Superspeedway Public Relations Director.
1981 – Named NASCAR Public Relations Director.
1981-83 – Served as Director of Administration for NASCAR.
1983-93 – Served as Vice President of Administration for NASCAR.
1993-2001 – President, Darlington Raceway.
1993 – Appointed Corporate Vice President of International Speedway Corporation.
1995 – Awarded the Order of the Palmetto, South Carolina’s highest civic honor. Summer 2001 – Named Vice President of Corporate Communications for NASCAR.
2005 – Received the Joe Littlejohn Award, for outstanding service to the National Motorsports Press Association.
2006 – Presented with the Buddy Shuman Award, in recognition of his longtime impact on the sport of NASCAR.
2007 – Presented with Lifetime Achievement in Sport and Entertainment Award by the International Conference on Sport and Entertainment Business.
2010 – Died in Daytona Beach, Fla. at the age of 71.
