Sloan Henderson might not need NASCAR’s “Drive for Diversity” program to land a quality ride in the near future, but she certainly wouldn’t complain if she did land one of the 10 coveted spots in the D4D Revolution Racing stable.
Henderson, an 18-year-old sensation from Ohio, was the top minority driver in the United States and Canada for the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series – NASCAR’s conglomerate of local short tracks. She won two features (one on her 18th birthday) and set track records at two tough Ohio circuits.
