I’m finally getting to fulfill a wish I’ve had since I first started my professional career in 2001. Write my very own editorial. ARCA has given me that opportunity for 2010 on ARCAracing.com and I’m going to do my best to not screw it up and make it a straight-to-archives piece or, even worse, scrapped altogether. Rest assured, it won’t be the Justin Marks race recap, and I won’t bore you with tales of my brilliant mid-race radio calls for more grip. No, this column will be a blank canvas for me to offer my perspective on our wonderful series, people, places, and happenings. After numerous years spent in road racing at all levels, as well as ARCA, and a few NASCAR starts, I find myself with enough experience to maybe offer an interesting opinion from a “traveled” racer. One thing though, to all those ARCA Racing Series drivers that read this piece, please do not take the title seriously.
