Chad McCumbee Gears Up For Toledo
Press Release
(5/17/10 – MOORESVILLE, N.C.) ModSpace driver Chad McCumbee heads to Toledo Speedway optimistic that he and his Andy Belmont Racing team have one of the cars to beat for this Sunday’s race.
Chad last raced at Toledo in the fall of 2006 finishing 14th. “I have always qualified well at Toledo but I haven’t been able to translate that into a win yet,” Said McCumbee of his previous experience at Toledo. 14th is Chad’s highest finish at Toledo to date, with his best starting position of 2nd in the fall of 2006.
McCumbee is excited to capitalize on the rest of the 2010 season after a great day turned sour in Talladega when he had mechanical issues early in the race. “We had a good car in Talladega it just wasn’t in our cards to win that one,” Chad said of his Talladega run.
Chad will be at Cedar Point Amusement Park in Sandusky, Ohio this Thursday from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m. and will also be attending the ARCA Fan Fest Friday at Toledo Speedway from 6:30 p.m. until 7:30 p.m.
ModSpace, and American Red Cross will be the sponsors on Chad’s car for this weekend’s event.
The Menards 200 presented by Federated Car Care is set to kick off at 2 p.m. on Sunday May 23rd. The race will consist of 200 laps/ 100 miles.
