Sunday
Allgaier Motorsports and Robb Brent Race to a sixth place finish at Pocono Raceway
Press Release
After posting the fifth fastest time in the practice session on Friday afternoon, engine problems during qualifying caused the team to use a points provisional to start the event on Saturday afternoon in 33rd position. Led by crew chief Dave Leiner II the Allgaier Motorsports, Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram team was able to make repairs without changing the engine.
As the green flag waved the No. 36 was on a mission; Brent was up to 8th position by lap 15. With a lot of on track action, the Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram- Dodge raced to 6th by lap 20 and up to 4th position before coming in for a green flag pit stop on lap 33. Dave Leiner II made the call for four tires and fuel. The crew had a flawless stop and sent the Dodge Charger back out into action.
An untimely caution following green flag pit stops left Brent on the tail end of the lead lap in what would be 5th position, with only 3 cars actually on the lead lap. Restarting on the track ahead of the leaders Brent was on top of his game. Impressively, the Allgaier Motorsports Dodge was laying down some of the fastest laps of the race and was able to keep the leaders well behind him. Hoping for a quick caution that would allow Brent to drive around and restart directly in line with the leaders.
When the second caution flag of the day finally waved, the 4th place No. 36 needed a push from a safety vehicle as cutting it to the edge on fuel, Brent had ran out. Getting fuel and four more Hoosiers, Brent was more than ready to go.
The final restart on lap 75, with five laps to go, Brent was in 10th position but wasn’t deterred. By the “tunnel” turn in turn two he had moved up to 8th and never looked back. Brent brought the No. 36 Allgaier Motorsports Orchard Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram- Dodge home in 6th place and moved up 2 positions in ARCA Series Championship points to 10th. It was a great day for Robb Brent and the entire Allgaier Motorsports Team.

“We faced adversity heading into the race and neither Robb or the guys got excited, said crew chief Dave Leiner II.” “We have a lot to be proud of today, with only 2 cautions all day and we were able to move up 27 positions on the race track… that’s a huge accomplishment.” “Good things are happening with Allgaier Motorsports”
