Armstrong is coming off an 8th place finish in the Messina Wildlife Animal Stopper 200 at the Pocono Raceway. He is currently 8th in ARCA Racing Series championship points, with 1 top-5 finish and 4 top-10 finishes. The Penske Driver Development Driver earned his first stock car win earlier this season at Talladega Superspeedway, after winning the pole.
