Justin Marks, Win-Tron Racing New Jersey Motorsports Park Advance
Press Release
What appeared to be another strong run at Berlin Raceway last weekend turned sour with 50 laps remaining of the scheduled 200, after a piece of debris punctured the housing of the transmission under the Construct Corps machine, forcing Marks to pull down pit road for repairs. The Mike Chaffee-led team went to work underneath the Dodge Charger, getting Justin back onto the track just 29 laps later. He would finish the night in the 21st spot, sliding him from the first position in the championship point standings back to third, just 30 marks behind new leader Craig Goess.
Placing Berlin Raceway in the rearview, Justin Marks and Win-Tron Racing will set their sights on the “Thunderbolt Raceway” this weekend, along with the signature thunderbolt-shaped trophy provided to the winner of the race. Though most of Justin’s prior road course experience comes from his years of racing in the Rolex Sports Car Series, the Rocklin, California native thrives on racing the twists and turns in any series. Differences between sports cars and stock cars are numerous, but the hot shoe has found a way to maneuver each different type of racing vehicle successfully through all the corners.

“New Jersey is a good opportunity for us to get some of the points back that we lost at Berlin,” Marks continued. “The guys have worked to improve the car in a few key areas since Palm Beach and I think we can go there are contend for the pole and the win.”
Craig Goess sits atop the championship standings with 2830 points, closely followed by second place Frank Kimmel with 2820 points, with Marks in third at 2800. Coverage for this weekend’s events at New Jersey Motorsports Park can be found on ARCARacing.com through live timing and scoring, beginning at 11:15 AM EST on Saturday for the ARCA Racing Series practice session. ARCA Nation will also carry live coverage of the 150 mile event, beginning at 12:30 pm EST, which you can also find on ARCARacing.com.
