HUNTERSVILLE, NC (9/9/10) – Heading into this weekends Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 at Toledo Speedway, Joey Coulter returns to one of his most successful tracks on the ARCA circuit. The 20-year old Miami Springs, FL native has become synonymous with his “patiently aggressive” demeanor on the short tracks, battling up front at each race. Coulter looks to do the same this Sunday (9/12/10) as he pilots his No. 16 Darrell Gwynn Foundation, Rip It Energy Fuel Chevrolet at the famed .5-mile paved oval.

“Toledo Speedway is an awesome track to race on, and it provides a truly epic battle for the fans to watch every time,” commented Coulter. “We have been very successful on the short tracks, especially here (Toledo) in the past and I always look forward to coming back. Harold (Holly) and my crew have prepared another great car and we look to bring home another trophy weekend!”

Coulter, in three previous starts at the historic Ohio facility, has racked up an impressive finishing percentage of 3.6, giving him one of the best on-track records in the field. He has finished runner-up in the 200-lap action packed races in the last two events (5/23/10 and 9/4/10) and garnered an average starting position of 10th. On top of this, Coulter has also earned the Menards Pole Award (9/4/10) and has led for 70 laps.

Looking to enhance their outstanding results, Coulter Motorsports has prepared chassis No. 010 for Sunday’s race. Coulter holds chassis 010 in high regard, since he last raced it at Berlin Raceway (8/7/10), and earned his first career ARCA Racing Series victory. That victory, coupled with great results at NJMP (New Jersey Motorsports Park), Springfield, and Chicagoland earned Coulter the coveted Bill France Four Crown Championship for 2010. Coulter and veteran Crew Chief Harold Holly, look to build on the momentum from the second half of the ARCA season, and take home another checkered flag in the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200.

“Joey (Coulter) is an extremely talented and smart driver, who knows how to handle a car around these tight short tracks,” said Coulter Motorsports Crew Chief Harold Holly. “His past results prove his dedication and true determination to be up front in every race. I am looking forward to this weekend, and know we have a great shot on Sunday.”

The green flag is set to drop Sunday at 2:00 PM ET over the Northwest Ohio Ford Dealers 200 at Toledo Speedway. Make sure to tune into LIVE timing/scoring and audio on www.ARCAracing.com to catch Joey Coulter and his No. 16 Darrell Gwynn Foundation, Rip It Energy Fuel Chevrolet.
