Friday
Justin Marks / Win-Tron Racing Toledo Speedway Advance
Press Release
Marks has remained positive over the past month after losing the championship points lead in a streak of bad luck beginning with Berlin Raceway and coming to a halt finally at Chicagoland two weekends ago, where Justin avoided trouble to finish sixth. Marks also came away unscathed from a chaotic event at DuQuoin on Labor Day Monday, where a traffic issue and a loose racetrack held the No. 32 Construct Corps machine to a 12th place finish.
Stepping off the wild, caution-filled 100 laps on the slick dirt at the DuQuoin State Fairgrounds last weekend, Win-Tron Racing driver Justin Marks is looking forward to hitting the pavement once again.

A fifth place starting position in the Construct Corps Charger at Toledo earlier this season helped Marks stay in touch with the leaders for nearly the entirety of the 200 laps, until the aforementioned cut right front tire forced him to pit road while running in the fourth position with five laps remaining. The 16th place finish that ensued did not back up the performance by the Win-Tron crew and Marks that afternoon.
Fans and media headed to Toledo this weekend will have plenty of excitement to absorb on and off the track, with the Ford Focus Midgets racing their feature event on Saturday night and the Belle Tire Fan Fest taking place both Saturday and Sunday on the speedway grounds. Check out ARCARacing.com. for a full schedule of events and more details.
The duo of Patrick Sheltra and Tom Hessert lead the championship point standings after DuQuoin, tied with 3870 points each, just five points ahead of third place Craig Goess. Marks remained in the seventh spot after the Labor Day event, now 200 points behind the leaders. Coverage for this weekend’s events at Toledo Speedway can be found on ARCARacing.com. through live timing and scoring, beginning at 12 pm EST on Saturday for the ARCA Racing Series practice session. ARCA Nation will also carry live coverage of the 200 lap event, beginning at 2:00 pm EST on Sunday afternoon, which you can also find on ARCARacing.com.
