Hermie Sadler Returns To NASCAR Nationwide Series At Richmond International Raceway With RAB Racing

Concord, NC (4-21-2010) – Former NASCAR Nationwide Series Rookie of the Year and current television analyst for SPEED, Hermie Sadler, will race in the “Bubba Burger 250” on Friday, April 30 at Richmond International Raceway. Sadler will pilot RAB Racing’s No. 09 TNA Wrestling Ford Fusion. The event will be Sadler’s first Nationwide Series start since 2004.
“I am thankful to the RAB Racing team for giving me this opportunity,” said Sadler. “The Nationwide Series is where I have had the most success in my career, and I look forward to getting back behind the wheel at Richmond in front of my family, friends, and fans.”
Sadler, an Emporia, VA native will head back home to a track that he is very familiar with. The 40-year-old veteran has 26 career starts at the .750-mile D-shaped oval in NASCAR’s top-3 touring series including 19 starts in the NASCAR Nationwide Series. Sadler enters next weekend’s event with two top-5, three top-10 and seven top-15 finishes at this historic track.
“I’m very happy to be going to Richmond with Hermie in our car,” said Robby Benton, RAB Racing’s Co-Owner/General Manger. “He has a huge following, in and around the Richmond area. Having TNA Wrestling on the car should generate some excitement and gives us an opportunity to elevate our team’s exposure. We’re looking forward to giving Hermie an opportunity to have a great return to the Nationwide Series.”
Total Non Stop Action Wrestling (TNA), is the second largest wrestling company in the world that utilizes some of the world¹s best known and up-and-coming wrestlers in the ring today. TNA and Sadler have had a long term relationship and will be the primary sponsor on the No. 09 Ford Fusion at Richmond.

The Bubba Burger 250 from Richmond International Raceway will be televised live on ESPN2 beginning at 7:00 p.m. ET. The race will also be broadcast live on the Motor Racing Network (MRN) and Sirius Satellite Radio beginning at 7:15 p.m. ET.
