top-fives and 47 top-10s in the Nationwide Series at Richmond

the short track with Carl Edwards taking the checkers last fall.

weekend for the Bubba Burger 250 at Richmond. This car was driven
previously by David Ragan last fall at Phoenix International Raceway
where he qualified ninth and finished sixth.
Kenseth, on getting into the No. 16 car at Richmond:
“I’m really looking forward to driving the No. 16 Ford this weekend
at Richmond. I’ve been looking to run some races for awhile in the
Nationwide Series this year and I know our team was looking for sponsors
this off-season in order to make that a possibility for me.
I think we’ve got a great No. 16 team over here. I worked with Eddie
Pardue last year and he’s a really good guy, so I’m looking forward
to running good this weekend at Richmond. We’ve had some success there
in the past and I know we’ll have a great run in our No. 16 Ford on
Friday.”
Crew chief Eddie Pardue, on heading to Richmond with Matt Kenseth:
“It’s always great to work with a champion like Matt Kenseth and
we’re thrilled to have him back in the car this weekend. We had a
great run at Richmond in the No. 16 at Richmond last year with Matt
qualifying on the pole and finishing third. I think we have a good
chance of improving on that run this weekend. There are few things
better than short track racing on a Friday night at Richmond and we’re
excited to put on a good show for the fans.”
