BRAD KESELOWSKI (No. 12 Ruby Tuesday Dodge Charger) Qualified Third
“Our Ruby Tuesday Dodge Charger was pretty good. We’re just a little free in the transitions in (Turns) 3 and 4. The car has a little different feel, but I think that we’re OK. Our car seems to be pretty good in race trim. Clint (Bowyer) looks fast as do both the Gibbs cars. We have to fight them off, run a good hard race and be there at the end to have a shot at winning. Things happen really fast here at Dover and you have to be on your game all race. Paul (Wolfe, crew chief) gave me a really good race car. We’ll just keep working on it during the race trying to get it a little faster.”
JUSTIN ALLGAIER (No. 12 Verizon Wireless Dodge Charger) Qualified 29th
“(The lap) It felt good. I felt that I pushed our Verizon Wireless Dodge pretty hard. We kind of threw the kitchen sink at this thing last night to try and make it better. I really didn’t know what to expect for qualifying. We’re going to have to be patient in the race. It’s really easy to get excited here and over drive early in the race. We’ll see what happens.”
DODGE FINISHED 1-2 AT BRISTOL EARLIER THIS YEAR; HOW ARE YOU IN RACE TRIM?
I don’t think that we have as good a package as we did at Bristol. We thought that we were really good at Bristol. We’re just OK here. We need to have a good race, but we also need to finish and keep gaining points.”
