Tuesday
Morgan Shepherd promoting Catawba County sheriff candidate Coy Reid at Charlotte
Press Release
Shepherd has great respect for the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department and current Sheriff David Huffman due to their many years of service and dedication to keeping their community safe.
“The department has done an outstanding job in our community and I want it to continue. I’m not speaking on anyone’s behalf but my own, but I feel that Coy Reid is the man for the job. I will be showing that support on my #89 Chevy Impala this weekend. I am exercising my right as a Catawba County resident and I want to encourage others to get out and vote for the person they feel is best for the job,” Shepherd said. “It’s time for people to get involved in what is going on in their community. I think the best way to do that is to get out to your local voting polls. We need to exercise our right as Americans and to take seriously what our service men and women are fighting for…FREEDOM to be heard!”
Reid joined the Catawba County Sheriff’s Department in 1977 where he has served in various capacities, including road patrol, criminal investigations, and most recently the department’s chief executive officer.
