QUOTES
Paul Menard on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway: “We are looking
forward to bouncing back at Charlotte this weekend. We’ve had strong
cars all year and we are looking to build on that success. We are
focused on running our Richmond/Menards Ford Focus up front and securing
a top five finish.
Crew chief Matt Puccia on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:
“Charlotte is a fast track with plenty of grip. Traditionally
track position is critical; you want to get the good clean air up front.
We will be focused on qualifying well and putting ourselves in the
position to have a strong finish.”
● REWIND, Heluva Good! 200… Paul Menard started the Heluva Good!
200 Nationwide Race in the 24th position on Saturday at Dover
International Speedway. Menard worked his Richmond/Menards Ford Fusion
up to 5th position half way into the race only to have a top ten finish
opportunity taken by a multi-car crash he was involved in on the 199th
lap at Dover, which sent Menard to the garage with his first unfinished
race of the season.
