Nationwide Series Driver Points Position – 24^th (after 11 of 35 races)

No. 6 CitiFinancial Racing News and Notes Heading Into Charlotte:

• The Driver…Ricky Stenhouse Jr. will be making his second career start at Charlotte Motor Speedway on Saturday, May 29, 2010.  In 2009, Stenhouse started seventh and finished 40^th at CMS.

• The Organization…Roush Fenway Racing has 10 wins, 27 top-fives and 41 top-10s in 75 Nationwide Series starts at Charlotte Motor Speedway.

• The Machine…The No. 6 Ford Fusion once again carries the familiar CitiFinancial colors this weekend.  CitiFinancial is the primary sponsor for 19 races in 2010.  The team will use chassis #RK-217 in the TECH-NET Auto Service 300.  In February, Stenhouse started 26^th and finished 39^th with this chassis in Fontana, Calif.  Stenhouse also drove this chassis twice in ’09 finishing ninth in Kentucky and 30^th at Gateway.

• Now Appearing…Stenhouse will be visiting two CitiFinancial branches in the Charlotte area on Wednesday, May 26, 2010.  Stenhouse will also sign autographs at Roush Fenway Racing’s Fan Day on Thursday, May 27, 2010 from 11:15 a.m to 12:00 p.m. EDT.

• On Air…The TECH-NET Auto Service 300 can be seen live on Saturday, May 29, 2010 on ABC with coverage beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT.  The event can also be heard live on PRN affiliates beginning at 2:00 p.m. EDT.

• Getting in on time…The No. 6 CitiFinancial Racing team sits 32^nd in the NASCAR Nationwide Series owner point standings after 11 races and must qualify on time at Charlotte Motor Speedway.  The top-30 teams are locked into the event.

“For the first time in a few weeks, I’m going to a place where I have raced before so that will be a boost for my confidence.  Even though the race last fall at Charlotte Motor Speedway ended early for me, I feel like the seat time I got will speed up my learning curve this weekend.  We had a fast car last year (qualified seventh) and there’s no reason to believe we won’t have a fast car again this time around.  Charlotte Motor Speedway has so much history, I just hope to start some good history for me and the CitiFinancial team on Saturday. We had a good car in Texas earlier this year which is similar to Charlotte so we feel good about the upcoming weekend.”

Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Charlotte Motor Speedway:

“Charlotte Motor Speedway is rich in history and I always love racing there.  The guys that work on these cars are so focused on putting a fast piece on the track because it kind of like our home turf.  Our company (Roush Fenway Racing) is typically fast when it comes to the mile and a half tracks so I’m looking forward to a great weekend.  Ricky (Stenhouse Jr.) has some laps around there so we’ll be ahead of the game as soon as practice starts.  Normally he is learning the track during the first part of practice, but since he’s run in Charlotte before, we’ll be able to work on race set-ups right off the bat.  While we still have to qualify on time, I feel confident he’ll be fast right off the truck so we should be good to go there.”
