Rookie stripes have always been an indication of uneasiness at a track, but for Brett Butler it has become a badge of honor. The driver of the #47 Fuel Doctor USA Chevy is visiting Texas Motor Speedway for the first time, the 7th occurrence this season that the Georgia native has adorned the stripe for the running of the Win Star World Casino 400K.

Butler is coming off his second highest finish of 2010 at Charlotte Motor Speedway last weekend and looks forward to the high speeds of Texas Motor Speedway.

“Texas is so fast that it demands respect. With the high banks and the sheer size of the place, it’s pretty easy to bite off more than you can chew,” stated Butler.

Butler now looks forward to stepping up in the points standings as well. “We are a slow starter but the team is picking up momentum and learning the characteristics of the trucks more and more each race. We grabbed a couple positions from Charlotte and are closing in a few more. Our goal has not waivered and I feel that we have the capabilities to be a front runner sooner than later.”

The Fuel Doctor USA Chevy will hit the track for the WinStar World Casino 400K at Texas Motor Speedway on Thursday at 12:00 EST on SPEED for practice with qualifying at 7:00pm EST that evening.

The Win Star World Casino 400K race will start at 9pm EST on Friday on SPEED
