Matt DiBenedetto To Pilot No. 20 Muscle Milk Toyota In Nashville Nationwide Series Race
Press ReleaseFederated Auto Parts 300 Marks DiBenedetto’s 2010 Season Debut

It will mark the first time DiBenedetto has gone behind the wheel for JGR since making his series debut last fall in Memphis. Despite being just a single race, DiBenedetto was able to gain a full range of experience at Memphis Motorsports Park. Although he had never appeared on the track before, Matt qualified fifth and manuevered his way up to as high as second through the early stages of the race. When trouble found him coming off pit road midway through the race and forced him to the back of the field he maintained his focus and made an amazing run back into the top-five before contact from behind while attempting to avoid an accident forced him to settle for a 14th-place finish. Although he had hoped for better his debut was an enormous success and set the stage for 2010.
This will mark the first time that Muscle Milk will appear on a JGR Nationwide Series entry. Muscle Milk is the title sponsor for JGRMX, Joe Gibbs Racing’s motocross operation and provides both the motocross athletes and JGR Pit Crew members with nutritional products.
Muscle Milk Protein Nutrition Shake is the leading protein enhanced functional beverage used by athletes like Adrian Peterson who rely on the shake for performance and active people who are looking for grab and go nutrition for their busy lifestyle.
The Federated Auto Parts 300 from Nashville Superspeedway will be televised by ESPN2 on Saturday, June 5 with coverage starting at 8 PM ET.

What are your expectations for Nashville?
“I’m really excited driving the No. 20 Muscle Milk Toyota this weekend. My goal would be a top five because of the equipment I’m in and all the success our team has had there in the past. Last year they told me Memphis was one of their most difficult tracks but we’ve been real good in Nashville. The team isn’t expecting me to win necessarily though, so I’m in a good situation and hope to get a good finish and finish up front.”
Are you looking forward to working with crew chief Kevin Kidd for your first time?
“Yes. Kevin and I talk just about every day. I feel like he will be easy to work with because we are both laid back and we communicate well. I’m really looking forward to it.”
What do you know about Muscle Milk?
“I’m real familiar with Muscle Milk actually. I really enjoy working out and I use the Muscle Milk training facility here at JGR every chance I get. I drink Muscle Milk because it gives me energy and enhances my workouts. Plus it tastes good. It is awesome to have them on my car in Nashville and hopefully we will be able to keep the Muscle Milk Camry up front all night.”

How do you feel heading into the weekend with Matt making his first start of the season in Nashville?
“It’s going to be a good experience. It won’t be his first start in the Series, but it is his first start of many this year, and we are looking forward to it and giving him the best opportunity to show what he can do.”
Do you think he will benefit from having come to this season’s earlier race in Nashville?
“I do. He was able to listen to our conversations and a get a feel for the car and listen to the problems we had with the car and then the solutions we came up with for those problems. So I think that will prove beneficial to Matt when it comes to this weekend.”
