● REWIND - Paul Menard started the Meijer 300 Nationwide Race in
the seventh position on Saturday night at Kentucky Speedway. Menard
worked his CertainTeed / Menards Ford Fusion up to fifth position in the
first ten laps of the race. He ran in the top 11 through the 157 laps
he completed despite some difficulties in the pits. Menard made heavy
contact with the wall after being spun by the No. 38 (Jason Leffler),
which sent Menard to the garage and ended his race at Kentucky Speedway.
Menard finished 32nd.
● MENARDS ON THE TRACK… In addition to their partnership with
Roush Fenway Racing and the No. 98 Ford Fusion NASCAR Nationwide Series
team, Menards is also affiliated with the racing ventures: Matt Crafton
and Frank Kimmel, as well as the No. 98 Richard Petty Motorsports Ford
Fusion entry in the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series.
