· Leffler back in the seat of the No. 38 Great Clips Camry… This weekend at New Hampshire International Speedway (NHIS), Leffler will return to the seat of the No. 38 machine. He will remain in the No. 38 for the remainder of the season with the exception of events at Bristol Motor Speedway, Atlanta Motor Speedway and Homestead-Miami Speedway where he will pilot the team’s No. 10 entry.
· New Hampshire Motor Speedway, by the numbers… In seven NASCAR Nationwide Series starts at NHIS, Leffler has one top-five and two top-10 finishes. His best performance at the one-mile track came in 2004 when he started and finished third.
· Who’s on the pit box… Veteran crew chief, Eddie Pardue, will call the shots for Leffler and the No. 38 team this weekend at NHIS. Pardue has spent the last ten years at Roush Racing where he has moved quickly through the ranks and has served as a crew chief since 2006 for the team’s Nationwide Series program.
· Home Sweet Home for “Trucker Matt”
This weekend marks a rare return trip home for Matt Weaver, transport driver for the No. 38 Great Clips team. A native of Keene, NH, Weaver looks forward to spending the weekend with family and friends and to bragging about his one year-old son, Logan.
· Get Fired Up with Great Clips… Great Clips is launching the second round of the Fire Me Up contest. Customers can enter two ways: either by texting “Fire” to Whale (94253) or by visiting www.greatclips.com and choosing the Fire Me Up Sweepstakes. The code is: Fire. The grand prize winner will receive a once in a lifetime trip for two to the Great Clips 300 in Atlanta.
In addition, the winner will be able to watch the race from the pits, have a meet and greet with Kasey Kahne and Jason Leffler, ride in the pace car and receive a personalized fire suit. Registration starts on June 7th and ends on August 7th.
· Did you know? Great Clips is the longest-running sponsor in the Nationwide Series…Minneapolis-based Great Clips, Inc. came onto the scene in 2001 as a primary sponsor of Akins Motorsports No. 38 entry, then driven by Christian Elder. Kasey Kahne drove the car from 2003-2005, before Leffler took over the wheel in 2006.
· Leffler on SIRIUS’ Morning Drive every Wednesday… Don’t forget to tune in to SIRIUS Radio’s “Morning Drive” with Mike Bagley and Pete Pistone every Wednesday at 10:30am to hear Leffler’s take on recent events in the Nationwide Series and what you can expect from the week’s upcoming race.

“New Hampshire isn’t characterized as a short track, but it definitely has the characteristics of one. Passing is tough and you have to be aggressive. You really have to work on getting your car up off the corner without getting loose on exit. We have had some strong runs in recent weeks and I feel like we can continue building on that momentum and bring home a solid top-five finish and maybe even contend for the win this weekend.”
