Paul Menard Finishes Ninth at New Hampshire Motor Speedway

The crew pulled off a flawless pit stop taking four tires, fuel and adjustments to the chassis and air pressure. Menard returned to the track in the 15th position and began his march through the field. The veteran made his way into the top-10 and didn’t look back. The wheelman continued to say the car was a bit tight center off, but was still moving up in the pack and ran as high as sixth.
Menard pitted for the last time on lap 146 taking four tires, fuel and a wedge adjustment. He continued to race in the top ten and finished ninth in the New England 200.
“We had a real solid run today,” said Menard. “The car was tight throughout the race, even after our adjustments but it was manageable and I am happy with the result.”
Kyle Busch won his sixth Nascar Nationwide Series race of the season by taking the checkered flag in the New England 200 at New Hampshire Motor Speedway.
The Nationwide Series returns to action at Daytona International Speedway next Friday night, July 2, 2010 for the Subway Jalapeño 250.
