Colin Braun – NNS ADVANCE

Team: No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion

Race: Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 – Gateway International Raceway

Crew Chief: Rick Viers

Chassis: RK- 346

FAST FACTS:

NOT THE BEST INDICATOR… - While the 17th-place finish did not reflect
it, Colin Braun and the No. 16 team put together another solid run last
weekend at Chicagoland Speedway. Braun ran in the top-12 for the
majority of the event and had a shot at a top-10 finish before an
accident on the final lap of a green-white-checkered finish relegated
him to a 17th-place finish. Braun has registered four top-12 finishes
in his last five starts.

BRAUN AT GATEWAY - While it is his first Nationwide Series start at the
1.25-mile Gateway International Raceway, Braun has made two previous
Camping World Truck Series starts at the track. In his first start,
Braun captured a top-10 finish and in his second, he claimed the pole
and finished 19th after a late race incident.

BRAUN TO HELP KICK OFF ANTI-TEXTING CAMPAIGN – This Friday, Braun will
join officials from Con-way Freight and the Missouri State Highway
Patrol as the MSHP kicks off a state-wide anti-texting campaign in
downtown St. Louis. As a spokesperson for the Ford Driving Skills for
Life program, Braun is an advocate for safe driving habits, especially
in teen drivers.

ROUSH FENWAY RACING AT GATEWAY - In 17 Nationwide Series starts, Roush
Fenway Racing has captured three wins, seven top-fives, 12 top-10s, two
pole awards with 237 laps led. The wins were tallied by Greg Biffle and
Carl Edwards (2).

GATEWAY CHASSIS SELECTION – Crew chief Rick Viers has selected RK-346
for this weekend’s Missouri-Illinois Dodge Dealers 250 at Gateway
International Raceway. This car was last on track at Nashville
Superspeedway with Brian Ickler behind the wheel. Ickler finished 29th
after getting caught up in an accident early in the race.

Braun, on consistency in the No. 16 and heading to Gateway:

“I’m excited to have a little bit of consistency over these next
few weeks in the No. 16 and getting to further build my relationship
with Rick (Viers). We’ve had some good runs together and I think the
best is yet to come for us and this team.

Gateway is another place where I’ve had some success in the Truck Series with a top-10 finish
and a pole and I think we have positioned ourselves for another good
finish. We’ve done pretty well at some of these standalone events so
far and we’re looking for nothing less going into this weekend.”

Crew chief Rick Viers, on last weekend’s finish and looking to Gateway:

“We had a good car at Chicagoland last weekend and if not caught up
in the last-lap crash, we feel like we would have secured another top-10
finish. We feel with Colin’s experience at Gateway and what we have
learned at Phoenix and Richmond earlier this year that we can expect to
have another great weekend.”
