Carl Edwards on racing at Watkins Glen International:

“We have won the last two road races in the Nationwide Series. We are taking the same car that we ran at Road America and the guys have been working hard on it. It would mean a lot to me to get a win there and keep the streak going, but the competition is going to be tough. The one thing about the Watkins Glen Nationwide Race is that it is one of the longest races of the year. It tends to be really hard on the overall equipment and car. It’s a tough race that I’m excited to be in for Fastenal.”

Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Watkins Glen International:

“Carl is a great road course racer and I think he has a great shot at winning in Watkins Glen. The Glen is fast and has a lot of corners with slight banking. With the changes that we’ve been making on the car, I think we can have a solid chance at taking our Fastenal Ford into victory lane Saturday.”
