SCOTT:

“I learned out there today. Our AccuDoc Solutions Toyota was better than me all day but that gave me a chance improve and figure out how to get better. I learned a lot. Experience is everything for me on these road courses. I haven’t done very much of it or anything so every bit helps.”

YOU SPUN OUT EARLY IN THE RACE BUT THAT MIGHT HAVE KEPT YOU OUT OF THE BIG WRECK.

“It could’ve. I mean you can look at things either way. I know we made it away from here and that’ll be a good car to take to Montreal.”

COLIN BRAUN, No. 16 CON-WAY FREIGHT FORD:

“Man, my guys did a really good job fixing this No. 16 Con-way Freight Ford Fusion up. I don’t know what happened there. Just got tagged in the quarter-panel there and spun around. Not a lot you can do when that happens but man these guys did a good job. I thought we had a pretty good racecar. We were playing the pit strategy game just trying to be smart and be there at the end and man I thought we were going to have great race going there.”

HOW HARD WAS THE HIT?

“I don’t think it was that hard. I think more people just piled into the wreck and by that time we were already kind of backed off for a little bit. I didn’t feel it was too bad of a hit, too big of a deal.”

HOW MUCH WILL GAINING MORE ROAD COURSE EXPERIENCE TODAY HELP AT MONTREAL?

“Well it’ll certainly help. You know every lap we do out there is better for me. Obviously being a Raybestos Rookie out here I’ve got to get as many laps as I can and you know it really helps me get more experience and more experience. Every lap is a good thing.”
