WIX FILTERS LAP LEADER NOTES FOR THE ZIPPO 200

NASCAR NATIONWIDE SERIES RACE

AT WATKINS GLEN INTERNATIONAL, AUGUST 7, 2010,

· Marcos Ambrose led twice for a race-high 60 laps to learn earn WIX Filters Lap Leader of the Race honors in today’s Zippo 200. Ambrose has now led seven times for 215 laps in nine NASCAR Nationwide Series road course races.

· Ambrose won today’s race, crossing the finish line 2.834 seconds ahead of second-place Joey Logano. The victory was the third for Ambrose in 73 career starts. All three of his wins have come in consecutive road course races at Watkins Glen International. Ambrose claimed his sixth career top-five and 14th top-10.

· DID YOU KNOW? The only other NASCAR driver to win three consecutive races at Watkins Glen is Terry Labonte (1994-96).

· UNOFFICIALLY Kyle Busch leads the WIX Filters Lap Leader standings by eight races (11-3) over Joey Logano.
