Scott talks Michigan

“Michigan has been a bitter-sweet racetrack for me in the past. I feel like it’s actually a good track for me, but the results just haven’t shown. We did really well in the ARCA car there but the Camping World Truck stuff hasn’t been all that successful. Michigan has these great big sweeping corners that just go on forever and you always carry a ton of speed down into turn one. I always feel like I’m fast, but then again, I broke my wrist at the place. Hopefully I can survive my Nationwide Series debut at Michigan in the New Car and put some finishes that I know I’m capable of there. ”

Scott on the Nationwide Series New Car

“We have worked really hard on our Nationwide New Car program at Braun Racing. We struggled a bit in Daytona, but the guys in the fab shop and the entire engineering staff at Braun Racing has given the New Car a lot of energy since then, so I’m hoping we can improve. I feel we’ll be taking on a different challenge at Michigan than we did in Daytona, but I know we learned a lot about how the car works and we’re much better prepared heading into Michigan.”

Equipment Information

The No. 11 AccuDoc Solutions team is bringing chassis No. BR105 for this weekend’s Carfax 250. BR105 is a brand new Nationwide Series New Car from Braun Racing.
