Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“It gives me confidence going back to a place that I have raced at before. Even though we didn’t get the finish we wanted at Bristol in the spring, we were pretty fast. I know what to expect this time and should be better as soon as we unload. Roush Fenway Racing has been to victory lane in Bristol many times and Mike (Kelley) is successful there so I feel like the No. 6 CitiFinancial Ford will be up front when it counts this weekend.”
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Bristol Motor Speedway:
“I love Bristol. It’s such an awesome place to race and an even better place to win at. Things happen fast in Bristol so the key is to be near the front all night long. There are a bunch of unknowns out there, but when you worry about it and start protecting yourself, more than likely you’ll put yourself in a tough spot. Usually the cars up front get in the least amount of trouble. Ricky needs to race hard but he also needs to be smart. The guys on pit road have to do their jobs because track position is critical at Bristol. Our company has good success at Bristol so we’re looking forward to getting there and getting dirty.”
