Carl Edwards on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“Atlanta is definitely one of my favorite tracks. It’s the place of my first Nationwide win and Sprint Cup win. I have a lot of great memories here. It’s a driver’s track, which is very fast, slippery and multi-grooved. You’ll see drivers using several lines. We need to stay focused and put this Fastenal Ford in victory lane.”
Crew chief Drew Blickensderfer on racing at Atlanta Motor Speedway:
“Carl has had much success in Atlanta. We are taking the same car that we won in at Gateway and finished second and fourth in California and Nashville. With consistency, I have no reason to believe that we can’t be competitive Saturday night and get Carl’s 50th NASCAR victory.”
