Kasey Kahne, with a qualifying lap speed of 181.479 mph, captured the NNS Great Clips 300 Coors Light Pole Award at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

This was Kahne’s 1st series pole of the 2010 season, his 8th series career pole and his 1st series pole at Atlanta Motor Speedway.

Sharing the front row with Kahne will be Kyle Busch, who ran a qualifying lap speed of 180.763 mph, and will be followed by Reed Sorenson (179.569) who will start third, Ryan Newman (179.563) starting fourth, Carl Edwards (179.377) fifth, Josh Wise (178.943) sixth, Jamie McMurray (178.770) seventh, Kevin Harvick (178.723) eighth, Paul Menard (178.522) ninth and Joey Logano (178.505) rounding out the top-ten starting positions.

Failing to make the starting lineup was the #04 driven by Jeremy Clements.

The race is scheduled to get underway tonight, a little after 7:00 PM (EST).
