- This weekend will mark McClure’s 133rd career Nationwide Series start and his eighth at the one-mile speedway if he can earn one of 43 starting positions.
- In seven NNS starts the Virginia driver has completed 94.8% of the laps and has an average finish of 25. His best start and finish at the track came in 2009 where he started 18th and finished in the 23rd position.
- The team will compete with the same chassis (No. 35) used in the spring race at Dover where it recorded a 24th-place finish. The team last used this chassis in Atlanta.

“I’m really looking forward to coming back to Dover.š We had an okay car in the spring but after running well at Richmond a couple of weeks ago I believe we can get a positive result this weekend.š We will first, however, have to get our Hefty® Ford in the show so we will use our practice session to make qualifying runs, but I look forward to making the race and having some fun.”
