  • The Organization…Roush Fenway Racing has one win, 11 top-five and 16 top-10s in 26 Nationwide Series starts at Kansas Speedway.  Stenhouse joins teammates Carl Edwards, Paul Menard and Colin Braun in the Kansas Lottery 300 on Saturday afternoon.
  • The Machine…The No. 6 Ford Fusion will sport the familiar CitiFinancial colors this weekend.  CitiFinancial is the primary sponsor for 24 races in 2010 with Stenhouse.  The team will use chassis #RK-378 at Kansas.  This chassis was used at Kentucky in June where Brian Ickler finished 14th.  Stenhouse also raced this chassis at Iowa in July and finished 14th and Texas in April finishing 29th.
  • On Air…The Kansas Lottery 300 can be seen live on Saturday, Oct. 2, 2010 on ESPN2 with coverage beginning at 3:00 p.m. EDT.  The event can also be heard live on MRN affiliates beginning at 3:00 p.m. EDT.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Kansas Speedway:

“I am looking forward to Kansas this week.  We are taking a car that we think is pretty fast so we should be good right out of the box.  Even though this will be my first NASCAR start in Kansas, I do have experience there.  In 2008, I finished second in the ARCA race while driving for Roush Fenway Racing.  Mike Kelley (crew chief) and the CitiFinancial guys have done a great job all year, especially the last couple of months, and we hope to continue that momentum heading into Kansas. We are all making better decisions and good things are happening.”

Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Kansas Speedway:

“Kansas is another mile and a half track that our company typically does well at.  Lately, Ricky (Stenhouse Jr.) is getting everything he can out of the car and that’s a great sign.  I am so proud of the guys on this No. 6 team for digging deep and working hard so we can achieve some of the goals that were set at the beginning of the year.  We have two practices on Friday to get the car dialed in and since we don’t have to qualify on time, we can work on race set-up.  This team is on a roll and we are looking forward to keeping it going in Kansas.”
