· Braun Racing acquired by Turner Motorsports… It was recently announced that Turner Motorsports acquired select assets of Braun Racing. The team will continue to operate as Braun Racing for the remainder of the 2010 season. Plans for Turner Motorsports in 2011 include fielding three entries in both the Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) and the NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS). The NNS driver lineup will be announced in October.
· This weekend’s race at Auto Club Speedway will mark Carmichael’s second career NNS. The 15-time AMA Champion made a solid run with NNS-regulars on the 1.5-mile track, gaining valuable seat time and keeping his Monster Energy Toyota clean throughout the race.
· Previously at Auto Club Speedway… Carmichael has made one start at Auto Club Speedway in the (NCWTS). In 2009, he started third and finished eighth.

Carmichael talks Auto Club Speedway
“After last weekend at Kansas, I definitely feel good going to Fontana. I’ve made one start there in the Truck Series and had a good qualifying run and finish, so it’s a track that I really like. Obviously, it will be different in the Nationwide car, but after the seat time I got last weekend and the solid run we had, I’m really excited to go back. Southern California is Monster Energy’s home as well, so hopefully we’ll be able to put on a good show for all of the folks who support us there.”
Equipment Information
This weekend at Auto Club Speedway the No. 10 Monster Energy team will hit the track with chassis #BR051. This chassis last saw track action at Atlanta Motor Speedway in June where Brian Scott drove it to a 28th-place finish. It was also on track at both Nashville events in 2010 where Scott raced it to 15th (April) and 28th (June) place finishes.
