Kengor Metals Has Kenny Wallace Covered For This Friday Night’s Dollar General 300 At Charlotte Motor Speedway

Monroe, NC (Monday October 11, 2010) – Kengor Metals will have Kenny Wallace “covered” for this Friday night’s Dollar General 300 NASCAR Nationwide Series race at Charlotte Motor Speedway. The Washington, Pennsylvania, company will serve as the primary sponsor of the No. 28 Jay Robinson Racing Chevrolet for the event.

“I’m honored to have Kengor Metals on our car for this week’s race,” said Wallace, driver of the No. 28 Chevrolet. “Since Kengor Metals sells covering materials, it’s only right that they would have me covered for the Dollar General 300.”

“The Kengor family has a long tradition of involvement in the coal industry, much like the Wallace family in racing. They have a commitment to satisfaction, and an honest work ethic, and I’m looking forward to representing them at Charlotte,” added Wallace.

The Dollar General 300 is race 31 of 35 on the NASCAR Nationwide Serieschedule. Television coverage begins Friday night on ESPN2 with “NASCAR Countdown” at 7:30pm ET, with race coverage on ESPN2 starting at 8:00pm ET. Radio coverage will be provided by PRN and Sirius XM Satellite Radio.
