• Great Clips colors on two Turner Motorsports’ entries at Phoenix International Raceway (PIR)… James Buescher will pilot the No. 11 Great Clips Toyota Camry this weekend at PIR. He will join Turner Motorsports teammate, Jason Leffler, in sporting the colors of the longest-running primary sponsor in the Nationwide Series. This is not the first time the 20-year-old has wheeled a Camry for Great Clips at PIR, he made his first NASCAR Nationwide Series (NNS) start at the track in 2008 in the No. 32 Great Clips Toyota. Great Clips will also adorn the hood of his No. 31 NASCAR Camping World Truck Series (NCWTS) entry, along with the No. 90 entry of Brad Sweet, for Friday night’s NCWTS race.
• Double-duty in Phoenix… For the second consecutive weekend, Buescher will do double-duty for Turner Motorsports, racing in both the NCWTS event on Friday and the NNS event on Saturday.
• PIR: By the numbers… Buescher has made five stockcar starts at PIR with three NNS starts, one NCWTS start and one K&N Pro Series West start at the one-mile oval. In his three NNS starts, he boasts one top-15 finish with an average start of 21.3 and an average finish of 19.7. He brought home a sixth-place finish in his one K&N Pro Series start at the track.

• Turner Motorsports 2011 plans announced… Last weekend, Turner Motorsports announced that its driver line-up for the 2011 season will include the return of a number of familiar faces such as Kasey Kahne, Reed Sorenson, Jason Leffler, James Buescher, Ricky Carmichael and USAC superstar, Brad Sweet.  The team has also added NASCAR Nationwide Series standout, Justin Allgaier, to their stable of drivers.  Turner Motorsports will continue their relationship with General Motors and the Chevrolet brand and has created alliances with Hendrick Motorsports, who will provide engine support for both its NNS and NCWTS programs, Kevin Harvick Inc. for body and aero support, and Earnhardt Technology Group for drive train and suspension technology assistance.  The team will field three full-time entries in both the NCWTS and NNS.

“I’m excited for Phoenix. It’s a tough schedule running in both the Truck race and the Nationwide race but I really enjoy it. Phoenix is a hard track because it is so slick and you really have to work on your car to get it handle just right. I am looking forward to being able to represent Great Clips on the track both Friday night and Saturday, and I’m really looking forward to bringing home solid finish in the No. 11 Great Clips Camry!”

Equipment Information

The No. 11 Great Clips team will hit the track with chassis BR048 this weekend at Phoenix International Raceway. This chassis last saw track action in New Hampshire in June and Phoenix in April where Jason Leffler drove it to 14^th and 19^th place finishes, respectively.
