No. 6 Roush Fenway Racing News and Notes Heading Into Phoenix:
The Driver… Ricky Stenhouse Jr., who leads the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings by six points, will make his second NASCAR Nationwide Series start at Phoenix International Raceway on Saturday afternoon. In February, Stenhouse started 14th and finished 9th.
The Organization… Roush Fenway Racing has seven wins, 19 top fives and 33 top 10s in 48 Nationwide Series starts at Phoenix International Raceway. Stenhouse joins teammates Carl Edwards, Paul Menard, Trevor Bayne and Colin Braun in the Wypall 200 on Saturday afternoon.
The Machine… Blackwell Angus Beef will adorn the No. 6 Ford Fusion this weekend in Phoenix for the fourth and final race in 2010. CitiFinancial is the primary sponsor for 24 races in 2010 with Stenhouse. The team will use chassis #RK-688 in Phoenix. Stenhouse recently raced this chassis at ORP (Indy) where he started third and finished 11th. This chassis was also used by Stenhouse in April at Richmond (20th) and in June at Loudon (16th).
On Air… The Wypall 200 can be seen live on Saturday, Nov. 13, 2010 on ESPN2 with coverage beginning at 4:00 p.m. EDT. The event can also be heard live on MRN affiliates beginning at 4:00 p.m. EDT.

Ricky Stenhouse Jr. on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“We’ve got Blackwell Angus Beef back on the car this Saturday, so we’re excited about that. Our team is looking to keep up the momentum from our solid run in Texas last weekend. Earlier this year, we had a ninth-place finish in Phoenix so I can’t wait to hit the track. The car we are bringing is a newer Roush Fenway Racing chassis. It’s been solid in the three other races we’ve run it this year so we are expecting big things. We’re also keeping the Raybestos Rookie of the Year standings in mind. We are in the lead but we need to keep working hard if we want to win it. We have just two more races to prove it.”
Crew Chief Mike Kelley on racing at Phoenix International Raceway:
“I am looking forward to Phoenix this weekend. Ricky was fast there earlier this year and we’re bringing one of our newer cars. It’s a cool place but it’s very different on each end of the racetrack. It has two distinct corners and has a dog-leg on the back stretch. It’s a challenge because you never get the car good at both ends of the track. Usually you can give up turn three and four a little bit more than one and two. If you get to where you are good in one corner and you can just maintain it in another regardless of which one it is, that will work out for you but I think turn one might be slightly more important than three or four.”
