Press Release
21-year old Chase Mattioli will pilot the No. 27 Ford Fusion in the NASCAR Nationwide Series Ford 300 at Homestead-Miami Speedway with sponsorship from CollegeComplete.com and GreenTree Environmental Consultants. Mattioli, a junior at New York’s Fordham University, will also serve as a spokesperson for CollegeComplete.com as they enter the incredibly popular motorsports arena. Students can go to CollegeComplete.com beginning December 1, 2010 for details on how to be selected as the recipient of the $5,000 matching scholarship, and the opportunity to join Chase at Daytona in February as an honorary member of his pit crew.

CHASE MATTIOLI ON HOMESTEAD-MIAMI
“It doesn’t get any better this….I’ll be driving for Baker Curb Racing, one of the best teams in the Nationwide Series and at the same time spreading the word on how GreenTree Environmental Consultants can help reduce trash and its impact on the environment and how CollegeComplete.com can help to supercharge your life with an education!
We’ve been talking with Baker Curb trying to get in this No. 27 Ford since the July Daytona race, but we didn’t have the right sponsorship in place until now. This team builds fast cars and they’ve been in a position to win a few races this season. I’ve never been to Homestead, so I’m looking forward to practice on Friday to get comfortable in the car and get acquainted with the track. This will only be my second start in the Nationwide Series, so the goal is to stay clean, run as many laps as possible and be in a position at the end to have a solid finish!”
CREW CHIEF JOHN REESE ON HOMESTEAD-MIAMI
“It’s the last race with the old style car, so I think once we get to the last 50 laps you’ll see guys getting very aggressive. That should make for a very exciting race to end the 2010 season. Here at Baker Curb Racing, we’ve had a very up-and-down season. We started the season out very strong but in the last third of the season since the Red Man Moist Snuff sponsorship went away, we’ve had a different driver in the seat almost every week. It’s very difficult to remain consistent each week running that way, but some of these young kids have put together strong runs for us.
The guys on our team have worked together for many years and nobody ever gave up, it just made us stronger as a team. To be in a spot to finish in the top 15 in owner’s points with all that we’ve been through, I’d consider 2010 a success. We’re looking to end the season on a high note with Chase behind the wheel. We’re taking car 85, which is the same car that Greg Biffle finished second with at California the second race of the season. Our mile-and-a-half program has been much better this year and I look forward to ending the season with another solid finish!”
