Chase Mattioli; GreenTree Matching Scholarship could top $30,000!
Press Release
“A few days ago we announced a $5,000 matching scholarship. Given the great response we have had, we’ve decided to up the ante!” commented Tim Drillette, CEO of GreenTree Environmental consultants. “Working in conjunction with Baker Curb Racing and CollegeComplete.com, we have entered into an agreement with HCC Specialty Underwriters where the matching scholarship could now total up to $30,000. “Education is the key to a green world and Chase is helping to spread the word,” Drillette concluded.
On or before December 1st, College Complete.com, on their website, will provide the public the chance to be selected as the recipient of a minimum $5,000 GreenTree matching scholarship, as well as the opportunity to join Chase Mattioli at Daytona in February as an honorary member of his pit crew. If Mattioli finishes in the top 20 at Homestead, the matching scholarship will increase to $15,000. If he finishes in the top 10, the matching scholarship will increase to $30,000. Both additions to the scholarship are funded through one of the international leaders in creative insurance solutions; Massachusetts based HCC Specialty Underwriters, www.hccsu.com.
“A top 10 finish would be incredible! While the car is certainly capable, this is my first Nationwide Series race at this track and in this car,” Mattioli commented. Based on Baker Curb and Mattioli’s record, a top 20 is certainly a possibility. “Baker Curb Racing has proven that they can have a strong run with a rookie behind the wheel several times this year. Owen Kelly scored a top-5 finish in his Nationwide Series debut at Road America, Nelson Piquet Jr. finished ninth at Watkins Glen and Drew Herring finished 15th in his debut at Iowa Speedway. I’m hopeful that I will be able continue the trend of strong runs by a rookie in the No. 27 this season.” Mattioli concluded.
“Our Insurance products have backed prizes and charitable contributions that have ranged from $10,000 Holes In Ones to $10,000,000 Triple Crowns” says Jack Woodbury, HCC’s Sr. Vice President.
Joining GreenTree and CollegeComplete.com, on Chase’s No. 27 Ford Fusion at Homestead will be his longtime supporters Advance Payment Services (www.joinAPS.com), Howard University’s WHUR 96.3 FM (www.whur.com) and Papillon & Moyer Construction (www.papillon-moyer.com). Chase’s will be also caring good wishes for his friend Eve Haim.
