Charlotte, NC (January 20, 2010) – Beyond Tribute.org announced today that it has joined with Asset Integrated Marketing and Richard Johns to create a marketing initiative within NASCAR to support and promote its Eleven-Eleven Campaign. Together the organizations will work to field a NASCAR Camping World Truck Series team, featuring Richard Johns as the driver, which will work with corporate marketing partners to promote the Eleven-Eleven Campaign to the millions of NASCAR fans worldwide.

Beyond Tribute.org is a non-profit corporation providing funding to a coalition of 11 charities that specialize in Direct Services and/or Advocacy for Active Duty service members and Veterans from all eras and conflicts.

Launched on Veterans Day, 2009, Beyond Tribute’s Eleven-Eleven Campaign’s objective is to change the way America honors its veterans – moving beyond tribute to action and support. The goal of the Campaign is to have 11 million Americans donate $11 by 11-11-2011. The 11 organizations currently slated to receive the benefits from the Eleven-Eleven Campaign are: American Gold Star Mothers, Iraq and Afghanistan Veterans of America, NY State for Vets, Service Women’s Action Network, Student Veterans of America, The Bob Woodruff Foundation, US VETS, Veterans of Modern Warfare, VFW Foundation, Vietnam Veterans of America, and the Wounded Warrior Project.

“We had our first exposure to NASCAR in 2007, and we were absolutely blown away by the support NASCAR fans demonstrated to our efforts,” said Beyond Tribute president, Paul Schneeberger. “We had the good fortune to get to know Richard (Johns) and have him show us what NASCAR is all about. As we evaluated how we could best get the Eleven-Eleven Campaign’s message out, NASCAR and Richard were a natural fit.”

“I’m honored to be chosen to work with the Eleven-Eleven Campaign and their NASCAR program,” Johns said (right). “I got to know Paul (Schneeberger) and his team in 2007 when I drove in the Nationwide Series, and saw the unbelievable work they were doing for our country’s veterans, active duty families, and families of the fallen. Since then, we’ve helped whenever we could and stayed in touch, so when this opportunity came along, I jumped at it.”

“In order to redefine Veterans and Memorial Day as “Days of Service”, we’re going to need corporate support and the support of millions of Americans,” Schneeberger said. “NASCAR has the ability to bring all that together, and we think Richard will be a perfect spokesperson for our efforts and those of the corporate partners that join with us. The Eleven-Eleven Campaign’s NASCAR program will provide our corporate partners the unique opportunity to create the awareness and sales for their brands and services NASCAR is known for, and as an added bonus, be a key part of helping to provide our country’s veterans with the support they deserve.”

“I’m looking forward to working with Paul and our marketing team to bring corporate partners onboard and race to our goal – 11 million Americans donating $11 to move the way we honor our veterans beyond tribute, to action and support,” Johns said. “Obviously, we’d love start at Daytona, and hopefully we’ll find a partner willing to help us do that, but whenever we do get to start, I’ll be ready.”
