Matt Kobyluck – No. 40 Mohegan Sun Casino Chevrolet
- Kobyluck holds three victories at Lime Rock Park. He is tied with Butch Leitzinger for the most wins at the series only road course venue.
- Kobyluck has been shut out of victory lane since January, 2009 at the Toyota All-Star Showdown – a winless streak that has now reached 17 races. However, Kobyluck’s win record on road courses is impressive. In 11 starts at Lime Rock, Kobyluck has posted three wins, four top-five, six top-10 finishes, and has led 240 of 889 laps run during those events.
- This weekend will mark Kobyluck’s 174th career start in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series East. The 2008 Champion has 16 career victories, 60 top-five, and 93 top-10 finishes. He is also the owner of 7 pole awards – his last being the pole he earned at Lime Rock Park in August, 2007.
- Kobyluck resides in Waterford, Conn. on the eastern side of the state. He is President of several large companies encompassing site development, construction, quarrying, concrete and trucking operations. His companies employ 120.

“We’re anxious to go back and redeem ourselves from last year. Last year, it seemed like anything that could go wrong, did. Our car stalled during qualifying, and then again during the race. The guys changed everything – cleaned out the fuel cell, changed fuel pumps, and just made major changes.
Then we got wrecked at the end of the race. It was just one of those races you’d rather forget. We know we run well there and we’re hoping to kind of get the monkey off our back and get a win. It’s right in our back yard and we’ll have a lot of people there pulling for us so we don’t want to let them down.”
