Andrew Smith Ends Ride with Spraker Racing
Press Release“NASCAR K&N Pro Series Rookie Looking Toward 2011″

Smith began his rookie season with an encouraging second place finish at Greenville-Pickens in his NASCAR debut. The excitement was short-lived as a post-race penalty relegated him to last place and cost him his crew chief for two
races. The downhill slide continued from there.
“We sure didn’t expect our year to go this way”, said a disappointed Smith.
The team intends to once again compete in the NASCAR K&N Pro Series in the 2011 season and feels like this setback may be an opportunity for greater things.
“We’re looking at our options and this gives us the opportunity for a fresh start. But whatever we do, we want to be
prepared when we get to the track”, commented Smith. “If we can get that, then we feel like we have the ability to compete for wins in this series.”
ASR spokesman Bradd Craft added, “We felt that it was in Andrew’s and our sponsor’s best interest to refocus our resources toward building for next year rather than continue to struggle each week with nothing to gain.
Going forward, we wish nothing but the best for Spraker Racing.”
